DR ELIZABETH WOODCOCK
B.Sc. (Psychol.)(Hons); M.Psychol.(Clinical); PhD, M.A.P.S.

 

Elizabeth is the principal Clinical Psychologist within the company and specialises in the assessment and treatment of a range of child and adult problems including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, insomnia, chronic pain, stress, PTSD, sexual problems, and much more. She has worked in both private practice and the public sector, in both research and clinical settings for over twelve years. Elizabeth has worked extensively with children and families and is an accredited 'Triple P' leader (Positive Parenting Program). For a number of years she worked at Redbank House at Westmead Hospital, which is a tertiary-level service for children with severe behavioural problems and other psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, and social skills deficits. Elizabeth also has specialist experience in the treatment of Selective Mutism and is the founder and director of the Selective Mutism Clinic.

 

Elizabeth has a combined PhD and Masters of Clinical Psychology degree from the University of N.S.W, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, the Australian Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (AACBT), and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). She holds full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (Reg #: PSY0001406292).

 

 
 

 

AMANDA SIE  
B.Psych.(Hons), M.Psychol.(Clinical), M.A.P.S.

 

Amanda is a Clinical Psychologist who is committed to using evidence-based treatments. She has a wide area of interests including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, emotion regulation problems and more. Amanda is particularly interested in working with families in treating child and adolescent problems such as anger/aggression, parent-child relationship problems, social skills deficits, depression, and anxiety such as generalised worry, phobias, separation anxiety and selective mutism. She has received accreditation from Tuning Into Kids, a program that helps parents use emotion coaching to teach their children to manage feelings.

 

Amanda is experienced with individual and group interventions, having worked in diverse settings such as an anxiety treatment and research unit, community mental health centre, child and family unit, university clinic and interstate at a rehabilitation centre. Alongside working at the practice, Amanda also works at the Acute Adolescent Unit at Redbank House, Westmead Hospital, which is an inpatient tertiary level service for adolescents with complex mental health problems.  Amanda obtained her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Masters of Clinical Psychology from the University of NSW. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, the Australian Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (Reg. #: PSY0001220578).

 

 
 

 

 

CHLOE MCGRATH         
B.SocSc (Hons) Psychol; M.Psychol.(Clinical); M.A.P.S.

 

Chloe has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and is passionate about working with children, adolescents and their families. She has a special interest in childhood anxiety disorders, but enjoys and is experienced in assessing and treating a broad range of psychological conditions, including eating problems, depression, behaviour problems, ADHD, and parent-child relationship difficulties. Chloe only uses evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and these are individually tailored for each client.

 

Chloe has previously worked in community health settings treating children, adolescents and adults with a diverse range of problems. These include Canterbury Community Health Centre, the Northern Beaches Adolescent Service, and the Northern Beaches Child and Family Counselling Service. Chloe also currently works at Caringbah Child, Youth and Family Counselling Service. Chloe also has a background in counselling: She studied a Graduate Diploma of Counselling at the Australian College of Applied Psychology and worked at Lifeline as a telephone counsellor for the 24-hour crisis line.

Chloe has a Bachelor of Social Science and Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She obtained her Master of Psychology (Clinical) from the University of New South Wales. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (Reg. #: PSY0001639054).
